Miami-Dade Parks present Noches Tropicales, a free concert series, dedicated to celebrating the rich heritage of hispanic music and dance with cuban super group Conjunto Progreso.

Voted «Best Latin Band» by Miami New Times Best of 2010, Grammy Nominated and Honored by the City of Miami.

Conjunto Progreso is one of Miami’s best tropical band. This band that has been nominated for a 2005 Grammy brings back the early cuban rhythms. Led by Johnny Aguiló, they certainly bring a fresh yet nostalgic music to the Miami audiences where cuban music is brought back form its origins and people today have the chance to dance to it one more time or either rediscover what is known as one of Cuba’s treasures. The band has been noted as the Buena Vista Social Club of America, Conjunto Progreso is definitely an outstanding group of musicians that plays for their audiences with passion and a lot flavor.
